Cullinan
is performing traffic & transportation engineering, final design, and land surveying
services for the reconstruction / streetscaping of this 1.8 mile
"Gateway" to downtown, which is at the northerly terminus of the Route 146
Project. The project includes topographic, right-of-way, and property line surveys,
traffic analysis, design of four signals and system interconnect, arterial lane additions,
intersection improvements & synchronization, roadway realignment, land takings,
easements, and design of drainage improvements to widen from two to four lanes. Cullinan
is also preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimate (PS&E) for MHD, and is
coordinating public meetings and client / abutter contact. Given the magnitude of
this project, Cullinan was involved with neighborhood groups, businesses, and state
agencies to resolve transportation planning issues and large land taking issues. This
project was funded by MHD. |
